SYUKUR

In our life there is a gift that looks like Grace, but the truth is Azab. Giving it a pleasing wrap, but the contents are painful. Like a poison wrapped in honey, or the term "delicious brings misery". Such giving is Istidraj.
Istidraj is we ask something pleasing to Allah SWT, then we are given by Him to then we punish. The giving of this istidraj is usually obtained not by the lawful way, but by Allah SWT, is still given. For example, someone who wants to be rich by all means, like by squeezing, stealing, robbing, corruption, even ngingu (nurturing) Tuyul. Finally Allah Almighty, making him a rich man but only to plunge him into a more severe punishment; and the punishment will befall him before he dies.
Another example is someone who wants to get the highest rank by way of slander and damage left-right, finally he was given the rank by Allah Swt., So more Pain fall.
There is also a person who spoils his son with a lawful treasure mauooun haram, the most important for him is the wealth can support his family seven derivatives. Finally, not until seven children have gone to prison. So he spent his old age by watching his children who are not "karu-karuan". That is the example of giving people Istidraj.
Therefore, in seeking the grace, we must use the ways that have been suggested by Rosululloh Saw, so we do not fall into Istidraj. Especially in today's many rich people, then fall into poverty in a sudden. There are also people who junior rank suddenly. The healthy person dies suddenly, but the sick person does not die.
Istidraj seems to be like grace, but it is actually a doom. To distinguish the two, we must use Bashirah (inner eye), not with Bashar (head of the eye), because our eyes are glare with glamor.
Furthermore, in dealing with the grace obtained, humans are divided into three kinds:
First, people are grateful for the favors. That is the person who is grateful for the grace and any favors obtained. Terms of Gratitude there are three kinds:
The first requirement, believing that grace and blessings are derived from Alloh Swt., Although the sustenance we earn is due to work, but we do not feel that sustenance is solely because of the work we do. This is to remember that many people who work but never get the money. To be more convinced that sustenance is the gift of Allah Swt., We can look at a young man who has worked but his life remains barely and his cigarette is still retail; then when he was old, he had three children and he was a little sick, his sons and daughters could go to universities. So, be assured we are only given and told to take our sustenance. But the essence of sustenance comes from Allah Swt. If we miss the understanding of this passage, then we will be a proud person.
The second condition, we must say and face of gratitude. If we get sustenance, we should be happy, do not even sullen. Say the word Alhamdulillah into the heart, God willing we will have a roomy attitude of the chest (makhraj), not a narrow chest.
The third condition, if we already show gratitude through the face, speech and heart, then we still need to do one more thing, that is how we use the sustenance. Sometimes a person has been looking for sustenance properly, but its use is wrong, for example: a pedicab driver get money from the result nariknya, then the money is used to gamble. So people like this have not been considered grateful in the real sense.
If three things have been done, then someone can be called grateful. If we are grateful, our sustenance will be added continuously, although we are not additional mintak. Therefore, the most effective prayer is gratefulness. Because with gratitude, means we have been using sustenance or giving alloh swt., Correctly.
Examples of the use of sustenance is true we have knowledge, then we teach to others that many people become clever and knowledgeable. We have eyes, we use to read, so there is a science that enters. We have money, then given to our children, to become full and grow into a suhih child. And so on.
Second, the one who shakes the favor. Wasted is the sustenance collected, then in Gerusno just like that. For example we are given a health favors but only digunaka to sleep until finally ngguk-ngguk en. Wasted people are usually stingy using their own sustenance, especially for shodaqoh to others. For example: someone has abundant rice, but he only eats corn rice. The wasteful person is close to the damage. Something that is not worn will be broken. For example: clothes that are not worn, then the mosquitoes that will occupy it.
Third, people who kufr delicious. the person who has been granted by Allah Swt., but he uses it apart from what has been advocated by Allah Swt., if we are granted by Allah Swt, whether in the form of knowledge, wealth to rank, then we must use it in accordance with what is commanded by Alloh Swt.,
If we behave redundantly, then we can see in people who have rank, but no degree. Many people have money, but do not bring blessings, especially those who do not have the money. Therefore, the attitude of kufr favors is a very dangerous attitude. For example: the eye is used to read al-qur'an and learn, meaning he has used his eyes properly. But if his eyes used to nginceng wong adhus, then he will be thrown sandals.
Indonesia has been blessed with a prosperous and prosperous nature, but its people continue to harvest illegal logging, resulting in floods. Therefore we should be grateful to Allah SWT for what has been given to us. Do not let us fall into a very dangerous kufr stance.
